An abstract composition that evokes a landscape: horizontal bands of ochres, creams and blacks suggest the ground, and dark vertical strokes recall tree trunks or posts. Splashes of red and intense blue break the calm of the earthy palette. The layers and scraped textures typical of collage give depth and the feel of an eroded landscape.
