Portrait of an elderly woman with a headscarf and earrings, her eyes closed and a quiet smile on her face. The graphite finely describes the wrinkles of her face and loosens into quick, hatched strokes on the headscarf and shoulders. An intimate drawing, full of tenderness, that lets the white of the paper breathe.
