A pale path leads between bare groves beneath a sky veiled in pink mist, with a pale sun barely glimpsed in the distance. The watercolour is allowed to run in patches of maroon, mauve and the odd touch of blue, while the branches, drawn with fine, nervous lines, frame the scene. A silent, almost dreamlike landscape.
