These terms apply to purchases made on lagaleriadealiciaprado.com. The shop owner and their details are given in the legal notice. If you have any questions about an order, write to us at alicia@lagaleriadealiciaprado.com or through our contact page.
1. The works
All the works are original and unique, painted by hand and signed by Alicia Prado. The photos on the website are taken with the greatest care, but every device's screen may show the colours slightly differently. Each painting's page states the technique, the dimensions and whether it is sold framed.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are not included: they are calculated at checkout based on your address and the size of the parcel, and you will see them before you pay.
You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. Payment is made through secure platforms; the shop never sees or stores your card details.
As every work is unique, the painting is reserved for you as soon as payment is completed.
3. Shipping
We ship throughout Spain and to other countries. Unframed works on paper travel rolled in a rigid tube; all others are sent in a protective box.
At checkout you choose the carrier; each option shows the approximate delivery time from when the parcel is dispatched. If for any reason we are unable to send your order within 30 days, we will let you know and you may cancel it with a full refund of the amount paid.
For deliveries to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and outside the European Union, the price is shown without Spanish VAT. Import taxes or customs formalities may apply on arrival, and these are payable by the buyer.
4. If the painting arrives damaged
Please check the parcel when you receive it. If the painting or the packaging arrives damaged, write to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the painting and the packaging. We will handle the claim with the carrier and refund you in full, shipping included. It won't cost you anything.
5. Returns: 14 days to change your mind
You have 14 calendar days from the day you receive the painting to cancel your purchase, without having to give any reason.
- How to do it: let us know before the 14 days are up by emailing alicia@lagaleriadealiciaprado.com or through our contact page. You can use the form below, although it is not compulsory. We will tell you the address to send it to.
- Return shipping: you must send the painting back to us within 14 days of notifying us. The cost of return shipping is yours to cover. We recommend using the same packaging and a tracked, insured service, as the painting travels at your risk until it reaches us.
- Condition: the painting must be returned in the same condition in which you received it.
- Refund: we will refund what you paid, including the original shipping at its cheapest option, within 14 days of your notice, using the same payment method. We may wait until we have received the painting before issuing the refund.
Commissions: paintings commissioned and painted to your specifications cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal, as provided for by law (Article 103 of the Spanish General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users).
6. Guarantee
In addition to the above, you have the statutory guarantee rights if the work does not match its description.
7. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you have a complaint, please write to us first: we are sure we can sort it out. You can also contact the consumer services of your autonomous community.
Withdrawal form
You only need to fill it in and send it if you wish to cancel your purchase. You can copy it into an email.
