A white lighthouse rises on a headland beside several buildings, while a flock of birds crosses a pink and violet sky. Below, the hillside in ochres and earth tones slopes down to a sea of blue and white foam. The watercolour, in warm, contrasting colours, captures the intense light of sunset.
