An elderly woman with a hat and walking stick, seen from behind, climbs a whitewashed alleyway carrying a blue bag. In the background, a few steps and a red bougainvillea tumbling down from above. The watercolour works the light reflected on the walls with mauve and bluish nuances, in a calm, everyday scene.
