In an elongated format, two dark boats rest on water of intense blues and violets. A red and orange patch bursts in the sky like a veiled sun, and a coastline can be glimpsed in the distance. The highly gestural watercolour lets the colour run and blend freely, with an expressive, almost abstract result. Sold framed.
