La Araña Beach beneath a wide sky of pink and blue clouds that fills almost the whole picture. In the distance, a tower stands out on a headland, and small figures walk along the wet shoreline. The watercolour, in transparent washes, captures the soft light at the end of the day in shades of mauve, sand and blue.
