A green meadow slopes down to the bank of a quiet river, where the trees on the far side are reflected. On the left, a post fence separates the grass from a golden field, and in the distance violet hills can be glimpsed through the mist. A fresh, luminous watercolour with loose brushstrokes and splashes.
