The walls and towers of the Alcazaba of Málaga, in ochre and toasted tones, rise beneath an intense blue sky. On the right, trees in lilac blossom add freshness, and a few passers-by can be made out at the foot of the wall. The loose, luminous watercolour leaves areas of white paper that heighten the sense of light.
