A lush landscape of luxuriant vegetation: reddish trunks, ferns and palm trees frame a pool of pinkish water. In the background, light filters through the foliage in pale greens, turquoises and lilacs, creating a humid, almost unreal atmosphere. The oil, with broad brushwork and intense colour, conveys the density of the forest.
